AMP-type emails
Subscribers want the emails to meet their needs. They have the same expectations when it comes to the design of emails, which is why we have spent most of the past decade making our emails mobile-friendly.

Now it is time for something new, something that is able to provide subscribers with a personalised experience. Therefore, the interactivity via emails and the AMP used now for emails are the next waves in this larger trend that wishes to create more compelling experiences based on each subscriber's behaviour and also based on the email reading environment.
What is AMP for email?
Announced in early 2018 and launched officially in March 2019, this is a set of open standards designed by Google to create the "dynamic emails”, as they call them, that allow marketers to bring common web functionalities into their email designs.
Reduce the clicks for action.
Stand out.
Boost email performance.
Email AMP elements enable marketers to create via email:
Interactive polls
Collect feedback quickly by adding live interactive polls in your emails, and increase your response rates by enabling subscribers to respond right there. Enable recipients to respond to a survey directly from an email. Collect more data and monitor the loyalty of customers. This is ideal for NPS questionnaires.
Delivery of a product
Deliver live details to track parcels. The details are updated as soon as a recipient opens the email and sent to the delivery app. This is how the customer experience is improved by eliminating the extra steps and outdated information.
Product reviews
Your customers can provide feedback, directly in an email, without having to log in.
Carousels
You can present each product or offer in greater detail by inserting carousels in your email structure.
The "accordion" menu
This sort of menus enable posters to provide more details about a product or event in the actual body of the email without affecting the design, while making the interaction and the presentation of information in the body of the email more user-friendly.
Integration of calendars in the email
You can simplify the user experience by inserting the booking option straight into your emails, so users no longer take a whole series of potentially tedious actions.
What does AMP for email mean to email marketers and developers?
For marketers, this means that users can perform actions directly in the email rather than visiting a web page, such as sending a RSVP answer to an event, participating in surveys, checking their email address, browsing an online catalogue, and more.

To developers, the logic is implemented in JavaScript. Scripts can be customised easily through CSS3, and various AMP elements can be used, from carousels to freshly updated content.
What if my email client does not display the AMP content?
This is not something that can affect your business. AMP emails are pre-loaded with an HTML reserve so that subscribers always have a good user experience, regardless of whether their email client supports AMP or not. So if an email client does not allow AMP to be displayed, the HTML version will be automatically sent as a replacement.
